Dr. Anita Maria Leach

Dr. Anita Maria Leach

Dr. Anita is a native of the District of Columbia.  At an early age, she can remember attending various churches and realizing that something was missing in her life.  Her grandmother witnessed to her about accepting Jesus as Lord and Savior.  In August 1966, Dr. Anita was filled with the Holy Spirit at thirteen years of age.  She dedicated her life to the Lord Jesus Christ from that day.

On November 22, 1975, Dr. Anita was joined in Holy matrimony to Minister Darnell Leach. God blessed them with one beautiful daughter, Katrice Marie Leach-Hollins, who currently serves with them in ministry. She is also the loving and proud grandmother of two grandsons, Darnell William and Xavier Andrew, and one granddaughter, Averi Hollins.

In 1981, Dr. Anita received the call to preach the Word of God. She is the Co-Founder of Shiloh Abundant Life Center in Forestville. MD, where she has served for over 35 years as a preacher, teacher, workshop facilitator and counselor for the Kingdom of God.  She and her husband relocated to Atlanta, GA in 2015 and planted Shiloh Abundant Life Center of ATL. Dr. Anita serves faithfully with her husband in providing leadership and covering of the New Beginnings Fellowship of Churches and Ministries. In October of 2018 she was affirmed as Overseer at the New Beginnings Conference.

She is an anointed preacher and teacher who enjoys counseling, teaching, and ministering to women.  Dr. Anita enjoys traveling with her loving companion, Bishop Darnell Leach as they often have opportunities to provide training and instruction to leaders and couples.

Dr. Anita is a graduate of Washington Bible College, Bowie State University and received her doctorate in Counseling Psychology from Argosy University in 2011.  She is a licensed certified professional counselor, a Certified Christian Life Coach, and CEO of Abundant Living Now, LLC. Dr. Anita is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors and American Counseling Association. In September 2017, she published her first book, “The Journey of Grief and Recovery.”

Her uttermost desire is to fulfill the purpose and call of God upon her life.  God has given her a word of release for women in the Body of Christ.  Her greatest joy in ministry is to see women emotionally healed, delivered and set free from yokes of bondage.
